Photographers Sean Lenz and Kristoffer Abildgaard of 'From The Lenz' capture beautifully lit stills of glow stick-streamed waterfalls in Northern California.
The San Francisco-based artist produced the neon-colored waterfall images, which they entitled 'Neon Luminance,' with the use of high-intensity glow sticks, since over-the-counter glow sticks usually don't last quite long. The photographers bundled the high-intensity glow sticks together to produce various color effects for the waterfalls.
To illuminate the scenery, the photographers used road flares and head lamps to add more lighting provided by the moon and using exposures of 30 seconds to seven minutes. The liquids inside the glow sticks weren't removed; therefore, avoiding any form of pollution.
The captivating photographs add a sense surrealism to normally damp evening waterfalls.
