Interdisciplinary artist Jun Cha designs his second series of skull casts entitled 'CAPO II' following his marble CAPO design. The latest installment features three tonal iterations -- a bronze finish, a stainless steel version, and a polished bronze variation.
Notably, the series is inspired by the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius -- Jun Cha explores a memento design that captures embracing one's mortality. The artist states, "Despite death as an inevitable law of Nature, embracing your mortality maintains sharp focus to live in the present and gratitude for all the things we take for granted. ‘CAPO II’ is another reminder to live each day as if it were your last." Each piece weighs about 13 pounds and measures at 6.4" x 8" x 7"
