The 50th anniversary of Andy Warhol's iconic artwork, 32 Campbell's Soup Cans,' has crept up, but the crafty minds behind the Campbell's Soup Andy Warhol limited edition cans have not let it pass them. Paying tribute to this significant piece, especially its significance to the company, Campbell's Soup has essentially mimic the different colorways Warhol created.
Although some may see this as a capitalization of pop art, the Campbell's Soup Andy Warhol edition is much more sentimental than that. Also, instead of 32 different cans, the company has limited it to four pop-art inspired ones. They will be available exclusively at Target beginning on September 2, 2012. Fans will also be able to get a Pop-Art Portrait on the 15 Minutes of Fame Facebook app.
