MineralShield nonstick technology is five times more durable than the brand's Calphalon Classic™ Nonstick and is crafted from some of the earth's toughest minerals. When equipped with MineralShield, these cookware pieces benefit from a three-layer nonstick interior. In addition, they are compatible with the majority of stovetops, including gas, electric, and glass variations.
Meanwhile, AquaShield is a water-based nonstick technology that maintains pan performance 40% longer than Calphalon Classic™ Nonstick.
