The Cake Rules Everything Around Me Show Pays Tribute to the Wu-Tang Clan

There is no better way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Wu-Tang Clan's existence than with the C.R.E.A.M.: Cake Rules Everything Around Me exhibit. It showcases a collection of creative cakes inspired by the heavily influential East Coast hip hop group.

Baked by Amirah Kassem, who runs the New York baking company Flour Shop, the cakes that make up the C.R.E.A.M.: Cake Rules Everything Around Me exhibit revolve around important aspects of the band’s history. Specifically, concepts that Kassem relates to personally, "Each piece was inspired by things that represent Wu-Tang to me." From a golden Killa Beehive cake to a frosted Wu-Tang sword and an edible Chinese takeout box, the exhibition runs until December 9, 2013. Henry Hargreaves photographed the outstanding cake creations.
