This year, instead of giving your Valentine the standard box of chocolates or bouquet of flowers, give a virtual gift from the Cabinet of Dreams and support Women's Aid in the process. Women's Aid is a UK organization that aims to end domestic violence. For Valentine's Day this year, it has teamed up with agency Grey London on a project that will help raise funds to protect women from domestic abuse.
The Cabinet of Dreams offers shoppers nine virtual gifts, such as "a stolen moment" and "old fashioned romance." Each of the gifts have been interpreted into art by some of London's most renowned artists such as Kyle Bean, Fred Butler and Nicole Mueller, and subsequently encased in classic bell jars. The jars of "gifts" are displayed as an installation at The FrameStore in Soho. Here, shoppers can purchase gifts by texting the number next to each item and donating an amount between £2 and £20 to Women's Aid, describes Popsop.
