It doesn't take a genius to figure out just what tool Chris Jackson's C-Lamp is inspired by. Just in case you need a tip, the C-Lamp is designed to look like a C-Clamp, an adjustable clamp designed to hold two objects together.
Jackson created every piece of the C-Lamp by hand using ingenuity, a furnace and some glue. The result is a lamp with a rough and industrial look. In an age of ultra-modern design, this is a welcomed change from the dainty minimalist interior decoration that has taken over the industry.
Unfortunately, the C-Lamp seems to be a one-off design. Still, I wouldn't be surprised to see mass-produced designs in the future that incorporate clamps. A C-Clamp living room set can't be far off.
