The Iranian capital city of Tehran is now home to a brand new business incubator building that doesn't merely provide space and resources for startups and business to grow their ideas and seek funding, but also happens to function as an example of functional modern architecture.
Developed by New Wave Architecture, the Turbosealteach New Incubator and Office building is topped by a green roof, which hints at some of the other measures surrounding energy efficiency. For one, the building is designed to curb heat gain thanks to the use of special aluminum sheathing that covers the outside glass. It is also fitted with a rainwater collection system for irrigation and non-drinking water use.
Elsewhere, the building comprises five levels, with its interior space taking on an industrial-chic appearance, while the open layout encourages easy flow and exchange of people and ideas.
