Business Card Installations

This Forest of Business Cards Changes is Like a Tree for Networking

The 'Forest of Business Cards' is a business card installation by Moriyuki Ochiai Architects was developed as part of an exhibition that would bring people together from around the world for the purposes of networking. The installation featured over 200 business cards displayed on a slotted form wall, so that the cards could be removed and replaced as needed.

One of the most interesting aspects of the installation is that each time a card is removed and a new one is put in its place, the installation as a whole begins to change its coloring and patterns. The installation is likened to a tree that change colors over the seasons and eventually, loses all of its leaves and becomes bare.
