Within Dani Grant’s bug photography editorial called ‘Infestation of a San Francsico Man,’ she takes photos of a tattooed man and his lady friends. In this case, his lady friends are lady bugs -- 6,000 of them, to be exact.
Dani Grant went to the ‘Garden Supply’ store in order to purchase the 6,000 ladybugs and then poured them all over her bearded model in order to create a frightening scene. The man’s white beard blends in with the white backdrop, where the small red bugs stand out within his hair. There are also close-ups where the creepy crawlers take over the man’s entire beard and crawl towards his face.
Overall, this bug photography is fascinating and horrifying at the same time, but somehow you just can’t look away.
