BucketFeet is a social enterprise founded in 2011 with a central focus of providing a unique platform for global artists to showcase their work.
BucketFeet creates comfortable and affordable canvas shoes that feature the work of artists from around the world. The chic sneakers contribute to the venture's aim to create a platform for connecting budding artists internationally while supporting causes that remain important to them. BucketFeet, founded by Aaron Firestein and Raaja Nemani, purchases the designs from the artists, while they also pay out royalties for each pair of shoes sold.
Through it's non-profit partners, BucketFeet supports important art, music and sports programs for children, an interest that reflects how the pair of founders met: while volunteering with kids in the slums of Buenos Aires. Presently, BucketFeet is partnered with MAGIC, love.futbol and Children Mending Hearts.
