Debunking AI Apps

BSBot Helps Publicis Clients Tell the Truth About AI from Fiction at Cannes

On the first day of the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity festival, Publicis Groupe released a tongue-in-cheek BSBot exclusively for its clients to translate AI jargon into "real talk." The app lets clients record audio or upload images and text from speeches, meetings, presentations, articles and press releases about artificial intelligence, and BSBot provides an assessment focused on the real questions that should be asked.

"The only thing more widespread than AI at the moment is the noise surrounding it," said Arthur Sadoun, chairman and chief executive of Publicis Groupe, "Cannes will only amplify it further."

In a short film titled 'A-I-A-I-Oh,' Publicis Groupe poked fun at "ad tech bros promising the world," set to the tune of the nursery rhyme Old MacDonald Had a Farm.
