Bryan Durushia, also known as DreamingofAutumn, has released a series of faceless portraits. The budding artist is only 18 years old, yet has already established a name for himself within his native Minnesota home base.
While Durushia works with multiple subjects, he maintains a strict sense of anonymity. In each image, facial features are blurred, rendering the individuals captured as entirely anonymous. He has done so by way of sunflowers, pumpkins and animal skulls, making his work appear quite mysterious and at times, haunted.
Dreamlike qualities come through as the props float in mid air or disappear in a black cloud of smoke, allowing him to relay imaginative motifs to viewers by way of his images.
