The brand headquarters of Finnish furniture brand Artek are clean-cut and minimalist. Located in Helsinki, the interior is designed by London-based studio Sevil Peach.
The initial floor plan boasted "a rabbit warren of small rooms," with privations of light and restricted views. This isn't surprising as the building was erected in the 19th century. To create an agreeable brand headquarters for the contemporary world, Sevil Peach reconfigured the layout of the site. The new floor plan proves to be airy and well-lit. A total of five workrooms and two meeting rooms are available to employees of Artek, while they can also enjoy the interconnected communal spaces such as the break room and the kitchen. Sevil Peach was given only seven months to complete the project.
