Bold Psychedelic Streetwear

Brain Dead Unveils It Far-Out Winter 2021 Lookbook Shot by Will Goodan

Los Angeles-based streetwear label Brain Dead has officially unveiled its Winter 2021 lookbook, revealing a range of highly textured, psychedelic looks.

Shot by photographer Will Goodan, the lookbook takes place in an unknown urban setting and uses Mia Kitora Howe as its primary model. The lookbook features a variety of one-of-kind garments, including colorful knit sweaters, a retro-inspired fleece zip-up, a six-eyed kitten sweater vest, and a checkered denim suit. All of the looks pop against the lo-fi urban background captured by Goodan.

Bold and cartoonish graphics also reappear throughout the collection, providing a notable -- if not unconventional -- motif. For example, an intarsia knit jumper features an image of two teddy bears cuddling, while the checkered denim jacket presents acid trip imagery of a dog, skeleton, and mushroom.
