Carhartt WIP works in collaboration with Brain Dead to release a series of apparel for the Spring/Summer 2019 season along with a publication entitled 'Brain Dead Index Vol. 1.' Carhartt WIP draws in the talents of the West Coast fashion label Brain Dead to merge its post-punk graphic designs to its workwear pieces. The two rework traditional silhouettes including bib-overalls and carpenter bottoms. Brain Dead is the perfect partnership as it has a keen sense of graphic visuals and lo-fi accents.
In correlation with the new collaborative drop, there will also be the debut publication Brain Dead Index Vol.1 comprised of illustrations from a series of contemporary artists. A highlighting piece of the new range is its classic lightweight chore coat constructed from nylon to give some translucent sensibilities. The capsule will be available beginning July 14 at select retailers and at Carhartt WIP store locations.
