BLAZE from Emily Brooke is a conceptual gadget designed to keep motorists aware that a biker is riding alongside them. BLAZE mounts onto a bike's handlebars and projects a bright green image of a bicycle ahead of you.
The idea is that the projected image will catch the driver's eye next to you (the image can be programmed to flash) and alert him of your presence. While I am not a cyclists, I still like this design. It is incredibly simple and seems like it would be very effective, especially for cyclists riding at night. A design like this would go a long way in America where cars and trucks still rule the roads and cyclists are treated like second-class citizens.
