Blake Morrow's friend Beth recently lost 150 pounds. That in and of itself would be an incredible feat. But both decided to take that journey to the next level -- specifically before and after photos -- to create an amazing series that brings a stark contrast between her former self and new self.
With great foresight and planning, Blake Morrow created 'The Beth Project.' In it are fun and clever scenes of Beth fighting with herself, singing with herself and even exploring new planets with herself. Blake Morrow explains, "I created a series of pop-culture inspired portraits of my friend Beth, playfully celebrating her fantastic weight loss of 150 pounds. I shot her "before" and "after" selves two years apart and then digitally integrated them to interact with each other within each scene. To properly communicate and celebrate Beth's accomplishment, her body shape has not been digitally altered."
