In celebration of this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, BlackBerry has designed a creative BlackBerry People’s Choice Award that comes with a hidden added bonus.
Designed by the BlackBerry design team for this year’s People’s Choice awards during one of Toronto’s most exciting film festivals. The awards are each crafted from solid blocks of aluminum and come in three different finishes: black, chrome and red.
The interesting thing about this year’s awards is that inside these trapezoidal prisms is a hidden miniature theatre. Simply look through the top of the award through the viewfinder and you will notice a small lightbox built into the prism. The theatre has the same proportions as an actual theater screen and will display a screen shot from the awarded film.
