Singer-songwriter Mariah Carey has announced the launch of 'Black Irish,' an Irish cream liqueur that is intended to honor the superstar's Black and Irish heritage.
"I wanted to create something that embodies the holidays and gives everyone a reason to celebrate year-round," said Carey in a recent press release. To start, the new liqueur will come in three flavors: Original Irish Cream, Salted Caramel, and White Chocolate. The product's slogan, ‘What is your #CauseforCelebration,’ is a throwback to Carey's Billboard-charting track 'It’s Like That.' Carey first announced the launch of 'Black Irish' via an Instagram post, which featured the pop star lying on a white sand beach with the green and blue bottle presented in front of her. The liqueur will only be available in 750 ml bottles and will be sold throughout the United States.
