Isn't it interesting that proximity to Halloween increases the fascination with all things creepy? Take insects for example. It seems spiders and Halloween go together like love and marriage, or a horse and carriage.

Even so, this amazing picture of a bird-eating spider freaks me out. I thought that it could not get much worse in terms of horrifying spider pictures, but it turned out I was very, very wrong.
