Squishy Burger Paninis

This Big Mac Sandwich Transforms a Fast Food Menu Item Into a New Dish

If you struggle to get your mouth around a Big Mac sandwich from McDonald's, you might want to try this interpretation. Created by Amy from the food blog Oh, Bite It!, the Big Mac Panini is essentially the classic McDonald's burger squashed in a panini press or a waffle maker if you don't have one.

Doing this to the Big Mac sandwich gives the bun a buttery and toasty texture, utterly transforming the burger into something that feels fancier. Just leave it in there until the insides get warm enough to start making the cheese nice and melty.

This is not the first time Amy has done something like this to a recognizable fast food item. She also created donut waffles by placing Krispy Kreme glazed donuts in a waffle iron.
