Panda Express announced a new partnership with Beyond Meat where it will launch the 'Beyond The Original Orange Chicken,' a plant-based version of the restaurant's iconic orange chicken dish. This meal will be available at more than 2,300+ Panda Express locations across the United States for a limited time, while supplies last.
The plant-based chicken is back by popular demand, as it was tested in select markets in 2021 and was met with great success, often selling out in just one day. Andrea Cherng, the Chief Brand Officer at Panda Express, stated: "Our team has been overjoyed by the undeniable excitement and incredible demand generated when we first introduced Beyond The Original Orange Chicken last summer as an innovative twist on our most iconic dish," continuing to note that the brand is continuously exploring creative ways to present our guests with the comfort and crave-ability they can expect from Panda while appealing to their evolving preferences and tastes."
In celebration of the launch of this fan-favorite meal, Panda Express is offering customers a free entree with the purchase of a Beyond The Original Chicken Bowl online beginning September 26th. To receive the free entree, customers must simply enter the code 'BEYOND' at checkout.
