Benromach and Reworked 348 announced a partnership that has seen the distillery and the clothing company work together to create a garment that harkens back to the garb worn by workers.
The jacket is inspired by the classic chore jacket that has been worn by distillery workers for centuries and is crafted out of recycled materials using handmade techniques. The jacket is crafted out of 100% cotton herringbone in a black hue that is only deviated from with the clothing brand's signature red in strategic spots. Priced at £130, the jacket is handmade to order and available for purchase online.
Production Manager at Benromach Murdo Mackenzie commented on the Benromach and Reworked 348 collaboration saying, "Reworked 348’s approach aligns perfectly with ours in terms of using traditional handmade skills to create something special. It was great for them to come up and see us at work in Speyside, and then for me to visit their studio to create a product of great quality and character – just like our whisky."
