Cat-Like Delivery Robots

PuduTech Debuted the BellaBot at CES 2020

PuduTech, the creator of the PuduBot, unveiled its newest delivery robot at CES 2020 in the form of BellaBot. Like its predecessor, BellaBot is a robot waiter but sets itself with an expressive feline digital face and a cat-like personality to match. The bot is set up with four shelves so that meal trays can be autonomously delivered to diners in a restaurant.

Thanks to the robot's "advanced tactile feedback system," customers are able to thank BellaBot for delivering a meal by giving it scratches on the head and ears. If the interaction goes well, BellaBot is programmed to offer a reply expressing its satisfaction—and if the scratching goes on for too long, the bot's expression changes and says that it needs to get back to work.
