Beijing Street Style

Beijing Street Style

What do people wear in China? When it comes to the Beijing Olympics, that's probably one of major wonders fashion conscious people from around the world have.

To answer that question -- and ease my own curiosity -- is this gallery of street style shots from Beijing. We've covered plenty of Tokyo street style, and there are quite a few focused on Shanghai and Hong Kong as well, but there's a major nook to be filled when it comes to websites covering street fashion from Beijing.

If anyone in Beijing wants a great idea for a hit-worthy website, this would be it! With the Olympics starting this Friday, it's the opportune moment.

The photos from this gallery come from Teen Vogue and Floy2d, ernop and yomiimoy on Flickr.

Since there are no good resources for current Beijing street style, I can say from my trip to the city last summer that if you want to blend in, carry an umbrella -- especially if it's sunny out!
