The Brooklyn Brew Shop announced that it would be joining the Black is Beautiful initiative, and launching a new Beer Making Kit in support of Color of Change.
A portion of the proceeds from each kit purchased will go towards the non-profit organization, which is dedicated to advancing civil rights in the United States. Half of the total sales from both the Beer Making Kit and Mix will go directly to Color of Change—providing $25 and $9 donations for each one that's purchased.
The DIY Beer Making Kits include the company's all-grain ingredient mix. a glass fermenter, thermometer, racking cane and tip, chambered airlock, screw-cap stopper, cleanser, and vinyl tubing. Once consumers have their kits, they can reuse the materials and purchase more mix to keep crafting their own beer at home.
