According to the editorial ‘The Beat of the 1980s’ in GQ China, the rhythm of the decade was as divided and diverse as the contrast between black and white. The monochrome shoot was art directed by fashion designer Kris Van Assche and photographed by Andreas Sjodin.

The 80’s theme has been around for quite a few seasons and is showing no signs of letting up. ‘The Beat of 1980s’ appears in the October 2009 inaugural issue of GQ China and features models Thiago Santos, Yvan Thiwissen, Renaldo Bertoti and Louis Borges.
