The Battersea Roof Gardens Will Overlook Battersea Power Station

Battersea Roof Gardens is a part of the proposal to redevelop London's famous Battersea Power Station. The words 'Battersea Power Station' have special significance to fans of Pink Floyd, as the album cover for their magnificent album Animals features an inflatable flying pig hovering above the power station's now-iconic chimneys.

The Battersea Roof Gardens will be located atop one of the buildings flanking the Electric Boulevard, a new street that will link the power station site with a new tube station. The gardens will be one of the largest roof gardens in London and will provide a 360-degree view of the surrounding skyline. They will feature walkways, look-out points, seating, lawns and quiet sheltered spaces.

The overall redevelopment of Battersea Power Station is expected to be completed in 2025.
