Mortal, a functional beverage brand based in Boulder, Colorado, has added a new flavor to its non-alcoholic kombucha lineup this week called Basillion Strawberries. The new beverage gets its name from its own ingredient formulation, which consists of a unique blend of Strawberry and Basil.
According to the company, Basillion Strawberries will be offered exclusively in a 16 oz. bottle and sold at Harmon’s Grocery stores as well as Mother’s Markets in Southern California and Whole Foods in the Rocky Mountain area. The new flavor was inspired by Mortal's founder, Becca Schepps, who grew up next to a strawberry field in New Jersey.
Currently, Mortal Kombuchas is being sold across 40 states, in major retailers including Natural Grocers, Whole Foods, Northwest Grocers, and Woodmans.
