This bar code bracelet by Italian designer Giorgio Bonaguro takes inspiration from the UPC codes that are found on the backs of products in the store. Just as each code is totally unique for each product, the 'Personal Code' bracelet is designed so that each one can be slightly different for every individual.
Rather than being chunky and black and white, the bracelet is a sophisticated take on the look of a bar code, mimicking the repeated lines of a bar code with a number of thin silver bands. Although this look could be achieved by wearing multiple bangles, the design of this cuff keeps each band spaced out and secure. Since each bracelet could be altered subtly from person to person, the changes are subtly, there are an infinite number of combinations that could be made.
