A boomer gas station owner rigged up a super lawn chair with 150+ helium filled party balloons and flew more than 200 miles. Hes balloon journey took him across a desert to a field in Idaho. His original departure was in Bend, Oregon.
It took about nine hours to fly the 235 miles. Fairly ordinary party balloons provided the lift. His back up descent gear was a blow gun and darts.
"We are preparing for descent, anybody have a BB gun?"
