Fran Silvestre Arquitectos, an architecture firm based out of Spain, has designed the 'Balint House.'
Characterized by its cylindrical body, offset by terraces recessed deep into the exterior walls, the Balint House is located near a golf course in Betera. Both the upper and lower terraces are outfitted with expansive glazing, allowing visual access to the home's surroundings, including the golf course. A pool mirroring the shape of the upper stone patio forms a semi-circle around the periphery of the house.
The curvaceous silhouette and oblong roof of the house suggest a matching interior plan; however, this is not the case. Inside, the home features a simple, rectangular plan in which the public and private spaces are easily allocated over three levels.
