The Bakslap applicator is created by a small team in Australia -- it extends out to apply sunscreen onto hard-to-reach areas such as our backs. The story behind the Bakslap stems from an emotional experience when Raphael McGowan lost his sister Tess McGowan-Chan to melanoma on her back after 11 months of fighting. It can also be functional beyond just sunscreen, it can apply moisturizers and other beauty or medicinal products. It simply works by opening the cap to apply the amount of product necessary, extend the handle, and apply over the body.
There are sponges that hold the product which has reusable properties and can be replaced when need be. The handle features a honeycomb design to enable additional strength whilst boasting a lightweight sensibility. The Bakslap is available in two colorway options -- either peach or sky blue.
