Heinz Bean Bars in London

Beer and beans both have a special place in many blokes' hearts. At last the two have been married together by Heinz Baked Beans to promote their “Saucy Beanz” range. So it's no loner Pinot Grigio with pasta, or Merlot with steak, but beans with beer.

Heinz used top sommelier and beer connoisseur to recommend beers that complemented their new range of 'Spicy Beanz' including spicy meatballs, Lincolnshire sausages and lamb meatballs (Beanz with Balls). Other ranges are called Red Hot Balls and Big Saucy Bangers.

For example, to enrich the original Heinz Baked Beans, the beans sommelier recommends beers that are dark in colour with a light malty texture, which will enhance the hearty flavours. Whilst for Heinz Red Hot Balls, Mann's Original Brown Ale is recommended as beers that are not over sweet will complement the chili flavourings and freshen the pallet.

Now onto the bit I REALLY love. To bring the new concept of beer and beans to life, Heinz has created the ultimate pub experience by producing the first ever beans bar serving perfectly poured pints of beans on tap. The beans on tap bar will be touring around University bars in the UK.
