Avon beauty products have officially received the Leaping Bunny seal from the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny Program, which will no doubt catch the attention of new and existing fans alike. The legacy beauty product brand took a phased approach to screening more than 8,000 raw materials and engaged with suppliers for more than 4,000 raw materials to ensure a smooth transition. The initiative first started in summer of 2023 when Avon began a partnership with Cruelty Free International to oversee its shift towards products that are certified to not be tested on animals.
Cruelty Free International CEO Michelle Thew commented on its partnership with Avon saying, "It’s been an amazing journey for Avon to receive Leaping Bunny approval and I am delighted that its entire range of products are now confirmed as cruelty-free. It has been really exciting to work with Avon to help end animal testing and to welcome such a global brand and household name fully into the Leaping Bunny family. I look forward to our continued partnership to help end animal testing."
