Minty Avocado Puddings

This Homemade Chocolate Pudding is Made Creamy with the Addition of Fruit

Chocolate desserts garners a healthy makeover with this homemade mint chocolate avocado pudding recipe by Heather Christo. The recipe uses avocados rather than gelatine to create a rich, creamy and delicious base packed with vitamins and nutritious fatty acids.

While this chocolate pudding is made with avocados, it still retains a rich brown coloring thanks to the addition of unsweetened cocoa powder that turns the fruit's flesh into a rich chocolate hue. The pudding is made with two ripe avocados blended with coconut cream, coconut milk, beet sugar, salt, vanilla and cocoa powder. Peppermint extract is added to give the pudding a mint chocolate flavoring. Once everything is blended the pudding can be served with a fresh spring of mint or popped into the fridge to keep for several days.
