Nike prepares to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its iconic Air Max 97 sneaker model and honors the special milestone with the new Atlantic Blue colorway to join the roster. The silhouette was originally designed with inspiration drawn from the Japanese bullet train and has gone through a plethora of iterations since.
The new colorway blends together a Neon palette along with Atlantic Blue all across the shoe. The base is made from a silver 3M mesh base for a shining touch as black is applied on top. This can be seen in the tongue sections, the pull tabs, and the mudguards of the shoe. Cool blue is then detailing the upper as Voltage Yellow makes up the heel tabs and other branding details.
