Artistic Air-Cleaning Murals

Scientist and Artist Andreco Creates Giant Eco-Conscious Painting

Science and art don't usually go hand in hand, but artist Andreco uses both with the giant mural he painted in Bologna. The painting is 59 feet tall and helps to clean the air surrounding it.

The mural appears to represent a tree of life, with elements in the shape of bubbles above it. It's able to clean the air because of the special paints used to create it. Unlike normal semi-toxic paints, the photochemical paint that Andreco used actually lessons Carbon Monoxide in the air, according to Design Taxi.

This is a pretty remarkable piece of artwork that would be beneficial all over the world. Even people who aren't fans of graffiti wouldn't mind it so much, especially if they were aware it was helping out the environment.
