The art deco influence is perhaps the most notable drives behind the design of Loreak's new brick-and-mortar location. With over 20 years of operation, the fashion label taps into the vision of local studio Pensando en Blanco. The request was for an interior that paid homage to the brand's long-established identity and one that communicates a sense of strong minimalism with occasional "surprise factors" that are meant to "visually engage customers upon each visit."
Pensando en Blanco delivers. The retail space in San Sebastian is entirely painted in white with the art deco influence reflected in the fixtures, the bold color combination of furniture and other odd objects, including a black metal square frame covered in cobalt blue glass, as well as chunks of wood and marble.
