Absolut has tapped Luxembourg-based glass producer Ardagh to create a custom, sound wave-like bottle for its newest limited edition Absolute Voices vodka. The new 'Sound Waves' design intends to celebrate the "wavemakers and trailblazers of the world," aligning with the new line's focus on personal expression.
The new sapphire blue bottle is made from 80% recycled glass and is available in a 700ml, 750ml, and 1litre version. Each bottle features a circular wave-like pattern that mimics the appearance of ripples in the water caused by a single raindrop or reverberation triggered by sound.
"Our product design team created the desired effect using their in-house sculptured embossing technology and expertise to give it a lifelike quality and standout impact," explained Maria Persson, NPD project manager at Ardagh Glass Packaging.
