The design of the Archet Backpack was inspired by architecture. Boasting the clean lines and geometric structure of common concrete buildings, there is nothing common about this knapsack. In fact, the panelled front and boxy silhouette give it a unique aesthetic that will have people making remarks left, right and center.
Designed by Lilian Kong, a Pittsburgh-based junior industrial and user experience designer at Carnegie Mellon, the Archet Backpack represent the dichotomies expressed in similarly styled structures. Kong writes, "Just as a structuralist building expresses the interaction between people within the building, the structuralist bag will reflect the way objects live within the bag."
The Archet Backpack comes complete with a magnetic latch to close the bag in a clean manner.
