The Aquarena Aqua Leisure Center is located in the heart of Val de Scarpe, Arras, France. Designed by Sarea Alain Sarfati Architecture, this public pool pavilion embodies its futuristic design inspiration thanks to its undulating ceiling elements and ethereal interior mood.
Frech architect Alain Sarfati's design for the Aquarena Aqua Leisure Center takes inspiration from the value of water. Paying homage to ancient baths as well as contemporary spas, the architect looks at water and its health, relaxation and cleansing qualities and benefits.
Resembling the free flowing movement of water, this interior features aquatic spatial elements and domed structural details. From illuminated LED lighting to organic interior architecture, this recreational environment redefines the meaning of sensory space and embraces the beauty and freedom of nature.
