McDonald's Japan has blessed fans with an anime-themed ice cream in the form of a 'Pikachu McFlurry.'
Last week, McDonald's Japan asked consumers to guess which Pokemon-themed McFlurry it would be releasing. Options included a habanero-flavored Charmander McFlurry and a broccoli-flavored Bulbasaur McFlurry among others. Today, McDonald's revealed the chosen flavor would be a Pikachu McFlurry with chocolate and banana sauce swirled throughout. The chocolate and banana flavoring is meant to represent Pikachu's color-scheme.
This anime-themed ice cream will even come in a limited-edition Pikachu container. The cup will feature Pikachu making a variety of cute faces so fans can try to collect them all. The Pikachu McFlurry will go on sale on July 14th in Japan.
