There's a brand-new Animal Crossing x Hello Kitty collaboration and later this month, players will be able to scan special amiibo cards to unlock special characters inspired by the world of Sanrio. Players will have the chance to invite the Sanrio-inspired villagers to move to their island, plus they can look forward to being able to purchase special items and outfits that take cues from characters like Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll.
With the cards, Animal Crossing: New Horizons players will get to meet six new characters like Etoile the sheep, inspired by Little Twin Stars, Chelsea the deer, inspired by My Melody and Toby the rabbit, inspired by Keroppi.
Those who played Animal Crossing: New Leaf on the Nintendo DS will see expanded themes to the Hello Kitty collaboration in New Horizons.
