There are dozens of animal coloring books out there for kids, but this one from artist Paul Burton aims to promote more than just creativity.
The 'E for Endangered' coloring book features more than 5,000 animal species that are recognized as threatened wildlife on the IUCN Red List. This includes ones like Hector's Dolphin, the Numbat and Indochinese Tigers. In addition to being able to color each animal in the book, animal lovers will also be able to read up on facts about the species. In total, Burton spent more than 1,200 hours crafting this book and it's expected that it should take about 1,000 hours for a consumer to complete the coloring book.
As of now, E for Endangered is running as part of a crowdfunding campaign that will help to cover the costs of content creation, printing and shipping.
