Moscow-based fashion styling photography duo Andrey Yakovlev & Lili Aleeva's recent series 'Aeroflot 2012' is an alluring depiction of three young models as retro flight attendants. These models are Marina Azarova, Irina Kobzeva and Natal'ya Yarunicheva.
In this particular shoot, Yakovlev was responsible for the photography while Aleeva did both the styling and makeup. The models' hair, tucked neatly under their hats, was styled by Ovo Arakelyan. Providing the overall art direction of the series was the talented Tat'yana Safronova.
Beyond the stylistic and artistic elements of the series, it couldn't have been easy to find and rent an actual airplane to use as the setting of the shoot. Given that much of the shoot took place also took place outside in natural light, this series is all the more impressive.
