This Parva Blends the Best of Digital and Analog Synthesizers

The Parva is a polyphonic analog synthesizer, manufactured by Texas-based 'futuresonus', that is looking to make debates about the supremacy of analog versus digital formats obsolete. This synth comes with eight voices, each of which comes with its own oscillators and filters for maximum manipulation and creation of unique sounds. It is claimed to be the first ever analog synth to come with a USB master port.

The synths, which will be hand-assembled in Texas, are currently the subject of a Kickstarter campaign. A pledge of $999 sounds like a reasonable sum to pay for synth enthusiasts.

The synth's designer Brad Ferguson sums up the device's appeal by positioning it as an attempt to produce "a completely new synth while still maintaining the character of the classics from the 70s and 80s."
