Nido by Ana Rascovsky Suspends Nest-Like Structures in the Trees

Ana Rascovsky is an artist and architect that has explored the use of wicker woven materials in her project titled 'Nido.' The structures are suspended from trees in Buenos Aires, and are strong enough to hold people sitting inside.

Rascovsky states that "this the perfect spot to relax, hang from a tree, apart from the world, while swinging in the air and feeling the sun coming though the wicker tissue." This is completely true, as it's quite closed off from the rest of the world, yet still open enough for people to take in the warm air and relax in the sun. Different sized holes have been placed throughout the design to allow for this airflow and the light to shine through easily. Users can also rest assured the the structures are quite safe and not suspended too high. Photo Credits: designboom, anarascovsky
