Children have been the centrepiece of many horror movies for decades; now, Norway’s Krillbite Studios is seeking to expand on that theme using its new game ‘Among the Sleep.’
This interactive first-person video game puts the player in the shoes of a two year-old child who wakes up in the middle of the night to find his house abandoned, leading him into a series of horrific events. The game’s setting is very dark, using shadows to hinder the player’s vision and to create an eerie atmosphere.
‘Among the Sleep’ began as a Kickstarter campaign and has almost reached its goal of $200,000 with support from virtual reality game guru Occulus Rift. Already rated as one of the scariest games of the year by The Guardian, ‘Among the Sleep’ is not something to miss.
